Making an Appointment

You have a right to request an appointment with a Practitioner of your choice

Please telephone us on 01536 791300 to book an appointment, all attendances at the Surgery are by appointment except in the case of where URGENT MEDICAL ATTENTION IS REQUIRED IMMEDIATELY.

Appointments in advance
We have a limited number of appointments which may be booked up to 3 months in advance

Routine Appointments
Routine appointments are available for booking up to 48 hours in advance

Same Day Appointments
Appointments for immediate (none routine) problems .

Urgent Appointments
Urgent appointments are available on the day and are normally allocated at the end of each surgery.

Telephone Appointment
Please telephone us on 01536 791300 and request that a Doctor or Nurse returns your call. The receptionist will ask you to give some details regarding your enquiry so that this may be passed onto the relevant clinical person.

Home Visits
If your condition means you cannot come to the surgery you can be visited at the doctor’s discretion. Please telephone your request before 10:00am and give the receptionist as much information as possible to help the doctor assess the urgency of your call. You may be telephoned by the doctor to discuss your request and it is entirely up to the Doctor to decide if a home visit is need and this is based on medical need. The doctor can see on average six patients in the surgery in the time taken for a home visit so if it is possible to attend the surgery please do so.
